AMS Group of Educational Institutions Celebrates 88th Founder’s Day Featuring the First Alhaj S.M. Shaik Nurddin Memorial Lecture on “Sustainable Hospitality: Redefining Care for People and Planet” Chennai, 10th September 2025 – The AMS Group of Educational Institutions celebrated its prestigious 88th Founder’s Day on 10th September 2025 at the college campus with grand enthusiasm and reverence towards the legacy of its visionary Founder Chairman, Late Alhaj Dr. S.M. Shaik Nurddin. For the first time, the event featured the distinguished Alhaj S.M. Shaik Nurddin Memorial Lecture, focusing on the timely and important theme: “Sustainable Hospitality: Redefining Care for People and Planet”. Renowned dignitaries and eminent guest speakers graced the occasion, including:Alhaj Abdul Rahman, Vice President of IUML Tamil Nadu and Former Member of Parliament,*Dr. Subair Khan, Founder & Chairman, Orthomed Hospital, Chennai,Thiru Lena Tamilvanan, Editor, Writer & Senior Journalist.Aalim Selvam S.N. Mahamed Samsudeen and Prof. A. Mohamed Abdul Kadhar , Advisor, AMS College of Engineering. The guest speakers fondly recollected the Founder’s spirit of hospitality, service, and dedication to society. They emphasized the urgent need for sustainability in the hospitality sector, advocating a balanced approach that serves both people and the planet.
The program commenced with a warm Welcome Address by Prof. Dr. K.G. Parthiban, Principal of AMS College of Engineering, who highlighted the tremendous contributions of Late Alhaj Dr. S.M. Shaik Nurddin in the field of education and community service.
The event was presided over by Mr. H. Mohamed Salegh-Secretary & Correspondent – AMS Group of Educational Institutions, who felicitated all the distinguished speakers in recognition of their valuable insights and participation.
